• Comments: When visitors leave comments or reviews about our service on the site, we collect the data shown in the form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.
• Contact Forms and API: To calculate shipping rates or integrate the API, we process your contact information, shipment parameters, and delivery addresses.

If you use our price calculator or login window, we set temporary cookies to ensure session continuity and to save your settings (e.g., “Remember Me” keeps you logged in for 2 weeks). Cookies are also used for analytics to improve the portal’s performance.

5. Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. Your shipment data (name, address, phone number) is transferred to the selected courier operator (e.g., DHL, FedEx, Omniva) to ensure delivery.

Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely. Registered user information is stored for as long as the user profile exists or as required by accounting and legal regulations.

7. What rights you have over your data

If you have a profile on Sūti.lv, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you or request that we erase your data (“the right to be forgotten”). This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes (e.g., issued invoices).
